Some Services, including marketplace, recruitment, paid subscription, contracting, payment, or opportunity-related features, may require you to be at least 18 years old.

not share your account access with others;

You are responsible for activity that occurs through your account unless you have reported misuse and taken reasonable steps to secure your account.
As between you and your employer, client, company or production entity, your personal Hoozoo account belongs to you.
However, if an organisation pays for, manages or provides access to a Hoozoo business account, workspace, recruiter seat, producer account, team licence or enterprise subscription, that organisation may control access to that paid account, workspace, subscription, project records, shared talent pools, internal notes, reports and usage information associated with that business account.

If you purchase paid Services, subscriptions, premium features, business accounts, enterprise accounts, marketplace access, wider search features, CV tools, AI tools, recruitment tools or other paid products, you agree to pay all applicable fees, charges, taxes and related costs.
You agree that:

prices may vary by region, account type, feature, billing cycle or subscription tier;
-
we may store and process payment information through third-party payment providers;
-
subscriptions may renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date;
-
failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of paid Services;
-
price changes will apply prospectively after reasonable notice, where required;
-

2.4 Notices and Messages
You agree that Hoozoo may provide notices and messages to you:
-
within the Services;
-
by email;
-
by mobile notification;
-
by SMS, where you have provided a number and consented where required;
-
through your account dashboard;
-
by other contact details you provide.
You are responsible for keeping your contact information accurate and current.
You can adjust some notification and communication preferences in your account settings, although we may still send important administrative, security, legal, billing or service-related notices.
2.5 Sharing and Visibility
Hoozoo allows users to share and manage professional information in different ways.
Depending on your account settings, subscription, permissions and the features you use, your information may be visible to:
-
your Hoozoo connections;
-
Seekers or Producers in your network;
-
Contractors you contact;
-
organisations or teams you are associated with;
-
users searching for talent or opportunities;
-
people receiving messages, EOIs, project invitations or job offers;
-
selected external recipients where you choose to share a CV, profile, link or document;
-
Hoozoo administrators and support staff where required to operate, secure or support the Services.
Where Hoozoo provides visibility settings, we will take reasonable steps to honour those settings.
You acknowledge that when you share information with other users, those users may see, copy, store, download, screenshot, re-share or use that information outside Hoozoo. Hoozoo cannot fully control what other users do with information after it has been shared with them.
2.6 Contractor Profiles and Dynamic Updates
Contractors may create and maintain Profiles that include professional information such as skills, experience, credits, availability, location, showreels, CVs, rates, links, documents and project preferences.
Contractors are responsible for ensuring their Profile information is accurate, current, lawful and not misleading.
Where a Contractor updates their Profile, Hoozoo may make the updated information available to connected Seekers, Producers, talent pools, project records, searches, saved shortlists or other relevant parts of the Services, subject to settings and applicable law.
Contractors acknowledge that outdated, incomplete or inaccurate Profile information may affect search results, recommendations, opportunity visibility or Seeker decisions.
2.7 Seeker Records, Private Notes and Relationship History
Seekers and Producers may use Hoozoo to manage relationships with Contractors, including by storing contact records, project history, communication history, reminders, internal comments, ratings, feedback, availability information, rates and Private Notes.
Seekers are responsible for ensuring that their Private Notes and internal records:
-
are accurate where they record factual information;
-
are lawful;
-
are not defamatory, discriminatory, harassing or malicious;
-
do not include information they are not entitled to collect, store or use;
-
comply with privacy, employment, workplace, anti-discrimination and other applicable laws.
Private Notes are designed for the Seeker’s own internal relationship-management purposes and are not automatically visible to the Contractor unless required by law, made visible by a feature, shared by the Seeker, or disclosed through an applicable legal process.
2.8 CV Parsing, Imported Profiles and Non-Member Records
Hoozoo may allow Seekers to upload CVs, resumes, showreels, documents, emails or other materials in order to create draft profiles, contact records, private records or invitation-ready profiles.
If you upload or import information about another person, you represent that:
-
you have a lawful basis to do so;
-
you have obtained any consent required by law;
-
the information was provided to you for a professional, recruitment, contracting, project, hiring or relationship-management purpose;
-
you will not use the information in an unlawful, misleading, discriminatory or harmful way.
Where Hoozoo creates a private or draft profile from an uploaded CV or other document, that record may remain private to the uploading Seeker unless and until the relevant person creates a Hoozoo account, claims the profile, accepts an invitation, or otherwise authorises broader use.
Hoozoo may use automated tools to extract, structure, reformat or suggest information from uploaded CVs and documents. You are responsible for checking the accuracy of any parsed, extracted or generated information before relying on it.
2.9 Search Alerts and Profile Deficits
Hoozoo may notify Contractors when they appear in searches, match project criteria, are shortlisted, receive requests for information, or are narrowly excluded from search results due to missing, outdated or non-matching profile information.
These alerts are provided to improve transparency and encourage current professional records.
Hoozoo does not guarantee that:
-
a search alert means a Contractor will be contacted, shortlisted, interviewed or hired;
-
a profile update will result in work or opportunities;
-
a Seeker’s search criteria are complete, fair, accurate or lawful;
-
any search result represents the best or only available candidate.
Seekers remain responsible for their own recruitment, contracting, employment and engagement decisions.
2.10 Messaging, EOIs and Offers
Hoozoo may allow users to send messages, expressions of interest, availability requests, project invitations, job opportunities, shortlist requests, profile update requests or offers.
Users are responsible for the content of their communications.
Hoozoo does not guarantee that messages will be read, delivered instantly, acted upon or result in any engagement, contract, employment, payment or opportunity.
Unless expressly stated otherwise in a separate written agreement, Hoozoo is not a party to any employment contract, contractor agreement, production agreement, services agreement, project agreement or other arrangement between users.
